Claudia Perez

Claudia Q. Perez is the Chief Xperience Officer and Sr. Consultant at BB Imaging and Consulting. Claudia ensures that business operations and customer experience are aligned and consistently meeting basic client needs. As a Sr. Consultant, she assures value-based results for clients focusing on experience, efficiency, profits and structures of the organization. Prior to joining BB Imaging in 2017, Claudia was at Seton Healthcare Family for 10 years leading Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB) and Innovation. TCAB is an innovative approach to transform care. Claudia spreaded the concepts of TCAB throughout 11 hospitals in Central Texas. She coached/mentor over 200 hospitals nationally as a faculty for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). She co-lead and influenced the addition of the Innovation department at Seton as the Business Development – Innovation and Technology Commercialization.

Claudia attended the Arizona State University where she earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Innovation. An undergraduate alumnus of the Faculdade de Medicina de Marilia – Sao Paulo – Brazil – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Claudia Perez is a strong advocate in the Austin ecosystem for innovation in healthcare and an Interactive Innovation Awards judge for SXSW since 2013. She is a mentor for the newly established Texas Venture Mentoring Service sister program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Venture Mentoring Service.

In the past, she has been responsible for organizing Design Thinking Projects, Technology Showcases, Hospital Hackathons and led the inaugural Innovation Challenge at Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin. She allied and mentor of many startups in Austin. She lives in Wimberley Texas with her family and is a proud co-owner of a co-working space – Social Impact Collective.
